Join us for a welcome reception and presentation/business pitch by the Young Entrepreneurs to a panel of local investors in order to obtain funding for their new business ventures. Local middle school students in the Chamber's Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) will present their business plans before a panel of local business leaders at the Investor Panel Event at Harper College. Each student business will have five minutes to pitch their business plans to the panel of investors. The participating investors will also select the one business group that will advance to the Young Entrepreneurs Academy Saunders Scholars National College Scholarship competition, where they will compete for hundreds of thousands of dollars in college scholarships and the opportunity to present their business plan at the America’s Small Business Summit in Washington, DC.
