SLSF raises funds for Northwest Special Recreation Association which works in cooperation with seventeen park districts throughout the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) provides over 2,000 recreational programs each year for children and adults with disabilities. Over 18,000 participants have fun, make friends, are included, go new places, learn new things and celebrate their lives at NWSRA programs each year. Many businesses and individuals join the celebration by supporting Special Leisure Services Foundation, the fundraising arm of NWSRA, throughout the year. SLSF hosts golf outings, a Fashion Show, an Annual Appeal and many more opportunities for involvement.
